We wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that our website remains open for business and advise on the provisions we have implemented to protect our staff, suppliers and customers.

We are currently following the governments advice, which is as follows:

“With the exception of some non-essential shops and public venues, we are not asking any other businesses to close – indeed it is important for business to carry on."

“Online retail is still open and encouraged and postal and delivery service will run as normal."

We are continually monitoring and reviewing the situation and will continue to act in line with official advice.

As a food business, we already have extremely high cleaning standards, however, we have further increased our cleaning frequency and all staff have access to hand sanitiser, food grade gloves and hand washing facilities.

All members of staff who can work from home have been doing so since 23rd March and are keeping in frequent contact with each other via email, phone and video calls.

This means that there is a significant reduction in staff working on the premises and as such, we now have one member of staff based at our production site and two members of staff (whom share the same household) at our packing/dispatch site.

We have implemented a 'zero contact' policy between our staff and any third party site visitors (delivery/collection personnel) with absolutely no entry in to our sites for anyone other than staff. Both delivered items and parcels for collection are stored outside to enable this to be successfully executed.

All of our delivery partners are now operating ‘contact free' deliveries and will happily sign for parcels on a customers behalf if required, or leave the parcel in a safe place.

As long as it is safe and viable for us to do so, we will continue to produce and send out customer orders which we hope may bring a little joy in to people's lives during this challenging and uncertain time.

Finally, we would like to thank all of our wonderful customers for their orders and for continuing to support our small business over the past five years.
